In our first year of partnership with Dallas-Ft. Worth's KDFW FOX 4, we are thrilled to announce the 2022 Stallings Award recipient! With an impressive resume and several honors and awards, Luke Fickell of University of Cincinnati, embodies the characteristics of The Stallings Award.
Fickell has strongly established his T.E.A.M. (Together Everyone Achieves More) culture on Cincinnati's campus, graduating players and instilling discipline and consistency on and off the field. Under Fickell, Cincinnati's four-year football players have a 100% graduation rate. He was one of the founders of the 2nd & 7 Foundation in 1999 with teammates Ryan Miller and Mike Vrabel. The foundation promotes reading by providing free books and positive role models to kids in need while encouraging young athletes of the community to pay it forward.
